Have you ever bit sad when they kill baby week, the lamb, and everyone has to eat it too?

I know when I was little I would get tears in their eyes because we were playing with the baby lamb (well they are actually a year old, but I like to called it a milk-fed lamb) for a week and then Papa or Grandpa would have to kill it and forward it to the family and the neighbors. Dad said we could share the lamb, because our family was not big enough to eat a whole one. I know the kids get sad today and I had to make a final stop in my arms and take her inside. She was so precious … I think it's that time of year now again and I just wanted to know what was everyone's thoughts on the subject. I know it is offered, and there are a lot of symbolism now that I'm grown up, but I can still not help but shed a tear sometimes. We can definitely take a look back to our ancestors from Egypt and thank God for His grace and protection of life the first born male, you know? It is not all bad:)
